Put the article headline in the subject line. Quote the sentence that is wrong, and send the version you believe is right, with a source if you have one (the referee’s report, a club statement, a timestamp on the broadcast). We correct facts in the story. We do not rewrite a match because a fan disliked the tone.
News tips
Transfer smoke is cheap. A tip that helps is specific: which club, which player, what stage of the deal, and why you know. We will not publish your name unless you ask us to. We will also not pretend an anonymous tweet is a source.

Do not send us medical records, leaked documents you do not have the right to share, or anything that puts a player’s family at risk. We are not a drop box for revenge.
What we will not do
- We do not take betting advertising dressed as a “prediction column”
- We do not sell sponsored eleven-a-side lists as independent journalism
- We do not give interview access in exchange for a guaranteed headline
- We do not answer transfer questions with “sources say” if we do not have them
Partnerships that are clearly labelled — a data supplier, a photo agency, a legal notice — can be discussed. Pitch them as what they are. Write to [email protected] with “Partnership” in the subject.
Press and rights
For reprint permission, a quote check, or a photo credit query, use the editorial address. Tell us which URL you want to use and where it will appear. We would rather you link to the piece than scrape it.
Social
Footer icons will point to BTCLod’s official accounts when those handles are live. Until then, treat email as the reliable route. A reply on someone else’s football thread is not a contact form.
Response time
Match nights are busy. A correction sent at 22:40 on a Champions League evening may wait until the morning, unless it is a live score or a serious error (wrong red card, wrong player sent off). We still want the mail. A quiet Tuesday is faster.
