AC Milan Extend Strahinja Pavlović Contract Until 2031

AC Milan have tied Strahinja Pavlović to the club’s future, extending the Serbian defender’s contract until 30 June 2031, with an option included for a further renewal. It is a decision that gives the Rossoneri another fixed point in a side still building its next long-term cycle.

A long-term commitment at Milanello

Pavlović joined Milan in July 2024 and has quickly established himself as a regular presence in the squad. The club described the defender as a figure marked by professionalism, personality and leadership, while also highlighting his connection to Milan on and off the pitch.

  • New contract expiry: 30 June 2031
  • Further extension option included in the agreement
  • Joined AC Milan in July 2024
  • Appearances for the club: 80
  • Starts: 75
  • Goals scored: seven

Those figures underline how rapidly Pavlović has become part of Milan’s regular structure. Seventy-five starts from 80 appearances point not merely to involvement, but to the trust he has earned over his time in red and black.

Pavlović’s promise to the supporters

The defender framed the renewal as both a personal step and a commitment to the club’s support. “I want to give 100 per cent every time. That is the promise I am making to our fans,” he said.

Pavlović also spoke warmly about his development since arriving in Italy. “Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want to keep representing this shirt. I have improved a great deal here, as a person and as a footballer, and I want to improve further.”

His relationship with the supporters was central to his message. “I love our fans,” Pavlović added. “They recognise when you give everything.”

A defender retained for the next chapter

For Milan, the agreement protects a player who has supplied consistency, character and goals from defence during his first period at the club. For Pavlović, it extends a stay at a club he regards as a major stage for his continuing growth.

The contract through 2031 means that, as Milan’s seasons develop and priorities change, the Serbian international is expected to remain one of the established faces in the Rossoneri dressing room.
