Thursday’s Game 3 of the American League Championship Series will begin at 1 p.m. ET after officials moved the first pitch ahead by five hours because of an unfavorable weather forecast.
Game 3 Schedule
| Game | Original Start | New Start | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| ALCS Game 3, Thursday | 6 p.m. ET | 1 p.m. ET | Expected inclement weather |
The earlier window is intended to get the postseason game in before the forecast becomes a larger factor. Fans planning to attend or follow Game 3 will need to adjust for an afternoon first pitch rather than the scheduled evening slot.
