Liga MX Apertura 2026 reaches Matchday 9 with four fixtures on the schedule. The day begins with Atlas facing Pumas, while Atlético de San Luis take on Necaxa. The Spanish schedule starts early for viewers in Mexico, with Osasuna meeting Rayo Vallecano at 06:00 Mexico City time. Athletic Club against Alavés and Celta de Vigo against Racing de Santander are also part of LaLiga’s four-match programme.

Barcelona’s visit to Sevilla provides the principal Spanish fixture later in the day. The Catalan side travel to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán for a 13:00 Mexico City time kick-off, with Sevilla aiming to make home surroundings count against the blaugrana.

The day’s broader card stretches well beyond Mexico and Spain, with matches also scheduled in the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Eredivisie, Liga Portugal, MLS and Liga de Expansión MX.
