Bologna vs Torino: Palladino Names Piccoli in Starting XI

Serie A’s fifth matchday brings Bologna and Torino to the Dall’Ara for a 15:00 kick-off, with Raffaele Palladino beginning his work on the Rossoblù bench through a clearly defined starting XI.

The coach and the club

Palladino has selected Lukasz Skorupski in goal for Bologna, behind a three-man defence of Helland, Heggem and Theate. Zortea and Miranda are set to provide the width, while Tommaso Pobega and Lewis Ferguson form the central midfield pairing.

In attack, Bologna will field Riccardo Orsolini? No: the chosen front three consists of Federico Bernardeschi and Nicolò Cambiaghi either side of Roberto Piccoli, who leads the line.

Torino coach Ignazio Abate has retained Perri between the posts and kept faith with a back three made up of Comert, Ismajli and Coco. Bragança takes the central midfield role, joined by Rolando Mandragora and Fitz-Jim, with Fortini and Cacciamani operating on the flanks.

Vlašić again supports Giovanni Simeone in Torino’s attack as the Granata look to impose themselves away from home.
