The Delaware Blue Coats are bringing Brad Jones aboard as their next general manager, adding an experienced basketball operations hand to the Philadelphia 76ers’ G League affiliate.
Jones takes over the Blue Coats’ front office with a background that spans G League coaching and executive work. His hiring places him in charge of the affiliate’s roster-building and player-development pipeline, a key part of Philadelphia’s effort to keep prospects and two-way players on a clear path between Delaware and the NBA club.
The Blue Coats have long served as a development stop for the 76ers’ young players, and Jones will now oversee that operation as the organization prepares for its next G League cycle.
