Hispanic Heritage Night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards carried an extra clubhouse touch before Friday’s game, when Latino players from the Brewers crossed the field to stand alongside their Orioles counterparts during the pregame ceremony.

Baltimore’s group included Samuel Basallo, Leody Taveras and Yennier Cano. Milwaukee’s Latino contingent featured Jackson Chourio, William Contreras, Abner Uribe, Antonio Senzatela, Gary Sánchez and Luis Lara.
For a few minutes before first pitch, the usual division between home clubhouse and visiting clubhouse gave way to a line of players honoring the countries and communities that helped shape their paths to the major leagues. It was a simple addition to the ceremony, but one that gave Hispanic Heritage Night a little more life on the Camden Yards grass.
