Brazil dates set for Argentina friendlies
The Brazilian national team will face Argentina twice on home soil, beginning at Estádio Beira-Rio on 10 October before moving north-east to Arena Pernambuco for the second match on 13 October. América’s trio will leave the club’s Coapa base after a strong start to the Apertura 2026 campaign.

Geyse carries remarkable club form to Brazil
For Geyse, the national-team recall comes during an exceptional early spell in Mexican football. The São Paulo-born forward leads the Apertura 2026 scoring chart with 13 goals after eight rounds, making her América’s most decisive attacking figure.
Her impact has also reached the club record books. Across the opening seven matchdays of the league season, Geyse scored in every appearance, becoming the first América player to begin a local tournament with goals in seven consecutive outings. The previous club mark had stood for 60 years.
A record sealed against Tigres
The seventh successive goal arrived in América’s 5-2 victory over Tigres, known as Las Amazonas, in round seven. Geyse scored the fourth goal of the match to complete the historic run.
Now she will join Haas and Priscila in Brazil for the Argentina fixtures, taking her prolific club form into an international gathering before América resume their Liga MX Femenil schedule.
