Como return to Serie A business at the Stadio Sinigaglia on Saturday, where Sassuolo arrive for a 15:00 kick-off after the club’s notable Champions League victory over Manchester United.
Fabregas weighs up his options for Sassuolo
- Como’s midweek European success has given way to the immediate demands of the league campaign, with Cesc Fabregas preparing his side for the visit of Sassuolo.
- The Como coach confirmed that Kean will not be available for the match. “Kean will not be there,” Fabregas said.
- Fabregas did not rule out a possible return on Tuesday, but stressed that no commitment could yet be made over the player’s recovery.
- Liberali is also expected to miss the Sassuolo fixture after picking up a minor issue. Fabregas described it as a small problem, while adding that he does not expect the player to be in the squad on Saturday.
The absences leave Fabregas to manage another demanding point in Como’s season, balancing the energy of a major European result with the need to maintain their league rhythm. Sassuolo’s visit is the next test of that continuity at the Sinigaglia.
