Eric Tulsky turned his Stanley Cup day into a Martha’s Vineyard lap Saturday, mixing landmark stops, local community visits and a pair of bakery runs while the trophy made the rounds with the Carolina Hurricanes general manager.

The first sweet stop came at Back Door Donuts, where a Stanley Cup-shaped cake had been prepared for Tulsky’s visit. The replica dessert was later part of a championship gathering at Offshore Ale, the Vineyard sports bar where Tulsky arrived with hockey’s real silverware.
Tulsky’s Cup itinerary also included the Aquinnah Lighthouse, a visit with the Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow Committee and time at Morning Glory Farm. Before the day was over, he added another bakery stop at Soigne for brownies.
For Tulsky, it was a full day of island scenery, community visits and enough baked goods to give the Cup celebration a distinctly local flavor.
