Borussia Dortmund made it three wins from three in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Paderborn, Fabio Silva opening early before substitute Felix Nmecha struck twice, including an overhead kick late on.

Niko Kovac’s side were ahead after five minutes. Serhou Guirassy began the move with a long pass from inside his own area, and Fabio Silva collected near halfway after Tjark Scheller failed to cut it out. The forward ran clear, rounded goalkeeper Manuel Noll and finished.
Paderborn kept attacking and Curda had a strong chance to level in the 18th minute. Dortmund created plenty as well. Guirassy had two goals ruled out for offside after VAR checks, while Noll reacted well when Joey Veerman’s deflected effort headed towards goal.
Dortmund controlled most of the second half but had to wait for their second. Noll denied Ethan Nwaneri in the 60th minute and produced an especially notable save two minutes later. Guirassy also lost two one-on-one situations with the Paderborn goalkeeper.
Nmecha, introduced in the 65th minute, finally extended the lead in the 80th. He drove into the area and fired past Noll. Four minutes from time, Marcel Sabitzer supplied the cross for Nmecha’s acrobatic bicycle-kick finish to complete the scoring.
Dortmund now have nine points from nine after their opening three Bundesliga matches.
