Frosinone have begun the rehabilitation process for Antonio Raimondo after examinations identified an insertional tendinopathy in his right Achilles tendon.
The decision
The forward returned from Italy Under-21 duty carrying the problem and underwent instrumental tests on the previous afternoon. The club confirmed the diagnosis in a medical update, adding that Raimondo has already started his recovery programme.
No timetable has yet been provided for his return. That leaves Frosinone waiting on the response of a player who has made a sharp early contribution to their league campaign.
Raimondo has scored four Serie A goals this season, despite being rated in only five matches. He has also collected two yellow cards.
