Gian Piero Gasperini has attended to one small detail before Roma’s major appointment with Inter: a visit to barber Gennaro Capasso, a familiar figure for several players in the Giallorossi squad.
Capasso shared a photograph of the Roma coach after the haircut, with Gasperini smiling as he prepares for Saturday’s meeting at the Stadio Olimpico. The match kicks off at 18:00 on 19 September and brings together two sides at the top end of the early Serie A table.
The barber marked the occasion with an affectionate Instagram message, saying that when “the Mister” arrives, few words are needed and that details can make the difference. It was a light moment in a week carrying greater weight for Roma, whose fast opening to the league campaign has given Gasperini further reason to approach the Inter fixture with confidence.
For the coach from Grugliasco, the evening at the Olimpico is another early test of Roma’s developing season. The haircut will not decide the contest, but it reflects the attention around a manager arriving polished and in good spirits for one of the first significant Sunday-afternoon chapters of the championship.
