Vasquez did score against Frosinone, ending a run of three consecutive below-par ratings. It was an important individual response, though Genoa’s overall record remains difficult ahead of the resumption.
Sow has fallen just short of a pass mark, sitting on 5.9 after a start marked entirely by insufficient ratings.
The break arrives at a useful moment
The international pause gives De Rossi and his squad time to address an opening chapter in which the margin for error has quickly narrowed. Osmajic’s two goals offer one encouraging sign, but Genoa need more players to raise their level if the season is to move away from its early struggle.
