Jordyn Tyson and Jaylin Lane are facing sharply different recovery timelines after injuries sustained early in the season, with Tyson not expected back before Week 7 and Lane likely headed for a season-ending absence.
Tyson, currently on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, is eligible to return Tuesday. However, his recovery is expected to keep him sidelined until at least Week 7.
Lane suffered a fractured and dislocated ankle during Sunday’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He remained in London for additional testing, and the severity of the injury is expected to end his season.
The loss of Lane removes a receiver from the offense for the long term, while Tyson’s club will continue to monitor his hamstring rehabilitation before determining when he can be activated from injured reserve.
