Diego Simeone has confirmed that Julián Álvarez will be available for Atlético Madrid’s meeting with Real Madrid, handing the Argentine forward clearance to return for one of the capital’s defining fixtures.
Álvarez missed Atlético’s previous two matches because of a muscle contracture, but the Madrid coach said the striker is now able to feature against their city rivals.
