Juventus Monitor Frosinone’s In-Form Bologna Loanee Antonio Raimondo

Antonio Raimondo’s rise at Frosinone is beginning to affect more than the Serie A scoring chart. The Bologna forward, on loan in Ciociaria, struck three times against Sassuolo to move clear at the top of the league’s goalscoring standings, and Juventus are monitoring a player whose value is climbing with every decisive afternoon.

Raimondo’s Frosinone chapter gathers pace

The 2004-born striker arrived at Frosinone on loan during the summer after a difficult previous season. He has acknowledged that period himself, but the work under Massimiliano Alvini has quickly restored his confidence.

His hat-trick against Sassuolo was the clearest illustration of that revival. It placed Raimondo at the summit of the Serie A scorers’ list and strengthened the feeling that Bologna possess one of the more valuable young attacking talents in the division.

  • Raimondo is contracted to Bologna and is spending the season on loan at Frosinone.
  • His three-goal display against Sassuolo took him to first place among Serie A’s leading scorers.
  • The striker has credited Alvini’s influence with helping him rebuild belief after an unhappy campaign.
  • Frosinone intend to keep him through to the end of the season, having made him a central part of their plans.

Juventus consider their timing

At Continassa, Juventus have followed Raimondo for some time. His profile has become still more relevant following the arrival of Carnevali as general manager, with the club looking to shape a cycle containing more Italian players and paying close attention to the best emerging talent in Serie A.

The immediate question is whether Juventus need another forward in January. That assessment will depend in part on the response of Ekhator, whose return is expected between late October and early November.

Raimondo is not necessarily a straightforward winter solution. Juventus’ preference has been to consider a move after the season, when Fabio Miretti returns from his Besiktas loan and his own future can be discussed. Bologna have admired Miretti for some time, creating a possible thread between the two clubs when the summer market opens.

A January move remains possible

Raimondo’s recent form also creates a risk for Juventus: interest from other clubs may intensify, particularly from the Premier League. Should the competition for his signature become more serious by mid-season, the Bianconeri could decide that waiting until the summer carries too much danger.

A January purchase would not automatically mean removing the striker from Frosinone. Keeping him on loan there would allow Raimondo to continue playing regularly, while Juventus could welcome a more developed player at a later stage.

  • Juventus could wait until the summer, with Miretti’s return from Besiktas part of the wider picture.
  • A winter approach cannot be ruled out if overseas interest grows, especially from England.
  • Frosinone would prefer Raimondo to remain until the campaign’s conclusion.
  • Juventus could buy him in January and leave him at Frosinone on a fresh loan.

A Gatti-style formula and Bologna’s decision

Such a structure would resemble Juventus’ handling of Federico Gatti, securing a player before allowing him to complete his development away from Turin. It could also help Juventus build a stronger relationship around Palmisani ahead of next summer.

Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori is not under pressure to settle Raimondo’s future immediately. Even so, the player’s deal runs to 2028, meaning the club cannot postpone every decision indefinitely as his reputation grows.

The expectation remains that Raimondo’s next permanent step will be addressed in the summer. Yet his goals, his renewed confidence and Juventus’ increasingly close attention mean that the January window may still become an important moment in the story.
