Juventus return to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night for their Serie A seventh-round meeting with Lazio, a fixture that places the home side under a different voice on the touchline. Luciano Spalletti is suspended, leaving Marco Domenichini to direct Juventus from the bench as the league programme reaches its evening conclusion.
The coach and the club
Spalletti’s absence changes the technical presence beside the pitch, though Juventus have named a side built around a three-man central defence and a front line led by Randal Kolo Muani. Vicario starts in goal, protected by Pierre Kalulu, Bremer and Jhon Lucumí.
Zeki Çelik is selected on the right flank, with Weston McKennie operating on the opposite side. Douglas Luiz and Sarr form the midfield pairing, while Nico González and Alajbegović are set to play behind Kolo Muani.
Domenichini will therefore oversee a Juventus XI of Vicario; Kalulu, Bremer, Lucumí; Çelik, Douglas Luiz, Sarr, McKennie; Nico González, Alajbegović; Kolo Muani.
Lazio’s evening at the Allianz Stadium
Gennaro Gattuso has kept faith with Mandas in goal for Lazio. In defence, Sutalo has been preferred to Doekhi and joins Provstgaard centrally, with Floriani and Tavares selected on the outside.
The visitors retain the midfield trio of Frattesi, Belahyane and Taylor. Isaksen and Zaccagni will support Noslin in attack as Lazio look to shape their own result in Turin.
Lazio’s starting side is Mandas; Floriani, Sutalo, Provstgaard, Tavares; Frattesi, Belahyane, Taylor; Isaksen, Noslin, Zaccagni.
