Paris Saint-Germain carried its workmanlike focus into halftime with Kang-in Lee urging calm after a first half shaped by a contentious moment involving Tottenham defender Cristian Romero.
The South Korea international faced reporters at the interval but declined to be drawn into the review over whether Romero should have been shown a red card. Rather than dwell on an incident outside PSG’s control, Lee kept his attention on the task in front of his side.
“We are doing a very good job,” Lee said. “I do not want to say anything about the other things because they are not something we can control. We will keep working and see if we can win in the second half.”

The possible dismissal of Romero had been examined during the match, adding another layer of tension to an already demanding European contest. Lee, however, made clear that PSG’s response would not be dictated by the referee’s decision.
He called for total certainty in every part of the team’s performance and expressed confidence that the discipline shown before the break could deliver the result.
“We have to be 100 per cent secure in every aspect,” he said. “I believe that with this work, we will get the victory.”
