Neither side found a goal in the opening 20 minutes. Colorado broke through at 2:51 of the second when Schwartz capitalized after Winnipeg mishandled the puck in its own end.
The Jets answered 70 seconds later. Connor set up at the top of the crease and redirected Neal Pionk’s point shot past Blackwood for a 1-1 game.
Perfetti put Winnipeg ahead late in the period, with Samberg’s shot from the blue line glancing off Perfetti’s left skate at 18:16.
Colorado pushed back in the third. Brett Kulak sent a shot around the end boards, Schwartz collected it quickly and found Svechkov alone in front. Svechkov poked the puck through Skinner’s legs at 12:35 to level the score.
Connor settled it in the final minute. Scheifele threaded a pass across the offensive zone through traffic, and Connor fired a quick wrist shot past Blackwood for the deciding goal.
