Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal has marked his latest individual recognition with a message on social media, a day after Harry Kane was named the gala’s leading player.
The teenage winger collected the Best Young Talent award, adding another distinction to a rapidly growing list for one of European football’s most watched emerging figures. Yamal’s reaction came online after the ceremony, where Kane took the top honour.
For Barcelona, the award offers another reminder of the influence Yamal has already established well beyond Catalonia, with the forward continuing to draw continental attention despite his age.
