In Italy, the Azzurra have emerged from their Nations League meeting with Turkey with a little more belief, though the mood around the national side remains measured.
The news from the club
Italy finished second in their group after beating Turkey, a result that has kept alive the prospect of reaching the play-offs.
The Azzurra coach acknowledged the improvement shown by his side but urged calm rather than allowing expectations to rise too quickly. The victory has offered encouragement, yet Italy’s route forward still depends on what follows in the competition.
