Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has added a striking new tattoo during the early stages of a season in which his work behind the scenes remains central to the club’s direction.
The 38-year-old, who was born in Vallo della Lucania, chose a large design for his right thigh: a zombie skull with a glowing red eye, wearing a military helmet.
The finished work was shared on social media by tattoo artist Salvatore Ariemma, known professionally as Erot Tattoo. Alongside photographs and video from the session with Manna, Ariemma wrote: “POV: you tattoo someone every Napoli supporter knows.”
A design drawn from Noyz Narcos
Ariemma also explained the inspiration behind the image, describing it as a transfer “from the cover of ‘Enemy’ by Noyz Narcos to skin”.
Manna’s tattoo recreates artwork used for Enemy, the 2018 album by Roman rapper Noyz Narcos. The original cover was created by Rome-based artist and graphic designer Scarful.
Its central figure is a zombie-like skull in a US M1 military helmet. The visual language draws on Vietnam War-era soldier graffiti, while also carrying the horror and splatter influences associated with 1980s popular culture.
For Manna, a figure familiar to Napoli supporters through his role in shaping the squad and the club’s sporting plans, the tattoo is a personal reference rather than a football statement — though it has inevitably drawn attention among the Neapolitan public.
