Nick Bolton Shows Dallas Stars Pride at Chiefs Game

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton brought a little Texas hockey flavor to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, arriving for the club’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers in a green Dallas Stars sweater.

Bolton grew up in Frisco, Texas, and played high school football at Frisco Lone Star High School. The suburb sits roughly 30 minutes north of the Stars’ home rink, American Airlines Center, making the NHL club a natural hometown choice for the two-time Super Bowl winner.

The Stars jersey was part of a broader hometown-team look among Kansas City players before kickoff. Tight end Travis Kelce wore Cleveland Guardians apparel, while offensive lineman Mike Caliendo represented the Milwaukee Brewers.

For Bolton, though, the green sweater put the spotlight on his Texas roots and the club from down the road in Dallas.
