The Czech pairing secured its first trophy together with a commanding final in Cincinnati, breaking early in each set and finishing with five breaks of serve overall. They led by a double break in both sets as Kempen and Panova struggled to establish a foothold.

It is Bouzkova’s seventh WTA doubles title and Noskova’s second. Noskova’s previous doubles success came in Berlin, where she also collected the singles trophy.

  • Final score: 6-1, 6-2

“It was a great day and a great match today,” Noskova said after the final. “I felt the best of all the matches. We were feeling good on court, so we kept it going.”

The pair dropped only one set across the tournament, moving through the draw with a blend of Noskova’s power and Bouzkova’s coverage around the court.

Bouzkova said their complementary games gave them a clear advantage. “We divided a lot of the parts of the game between us,” she said, praising Noskova’s power and improving volley work. “I tried to cover everything I could and stay active. We found a really good balance.”

Both players, established singles competitors, have played doubles together on several previous occasions. They have known each other for years through Czech tennis and Billie Jean King Cup involvement, despite their seven-year age gap.

Bouzkova joked that their friendship felt as though it stretched back much further. Noskova said their shared national-team background helped make the partnership natural.

The Cincinnati trophy also carried particular meaning for the new champions. Bouzkova said the pair had often seen the familiar winners’ photographs from the event and were delighted to have their own moment with the title hardware.

Noskova called the trophy “gorgeous,” describing it as among the most admired in the sport because of its full-size design and colours.

The victory adds to a strong season for both Czechs. Noskova has won singles titles at Wimbledon and Berlin, while Bouzkova has lifted singles trophies in Bogota and Nottingham.

Bouzkova pointed to tennis’s prominence among women and girls in Czechia, as well as the country’s training base and internal competition, when discussing the continued flow of Czech talent.

The champions will not continue together into the US Open doubles draw. Noskova is scheduled to partner Rebecca Sramkova, while Bouzkova will join Sara Sorribes Tormo.
