Under the lights of a French season still taking shape, OGC Nice have moved again to protect another young prospect from their academy.
The Ligue 1 news
Nice have handed midfielder Aboulaye Camara his first professional contract, tying the 18-year-old to the club for the next three years.
Born in Mauritania, Camara has already made his Ligue 1 debut this season. He came on late in Nice’s 1-1 draw with Le Mans on 5 September.
His deal follows the agreement signed by fellow academy player Djelan Morana on Thursday. The left-footed defender also committed to a three-year first professional contract.
The two announcements underline Nice’s determination to secure players emerging from their youth system, with Camara now formally part of the club’s senior-project plans.
