The legal chapter involving Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain has ended without prosecution. Paris investigating judges have issued a dismissal in the former PSG forward’s moral harassment case against the club, finding insufficient evidence to proceed.
Case closed after Mbappé’s complaint
- Mbappé filed a complaint against PSG in mid-May 2025, alleging moral harassment and attempted extortion of a signature.
- The complaint centred in part on the summer of 2023, when the France captain said PSG had placed him in the club’s so-called “loft”, separated from the main first-team group.
- A judicial investigation was opened following the complaint.
- Mbappé’s lawyers subsequently withdrew the complaint after that investigation had begun.
- In May, the Paris judges handling the case ordered that it be dropped, concluding that the available evidence did not establish sufficient grounds for charges.
The decision brings an end to one strand of the long-running dispute between Mbappé and his former club. The striker left PSG after the expiry of his contract and joined Real Madrid in 2024, following a final Paris season marked by tensions over his future.
