In Hampshire, on the roads west of London, former England forward Raheem Sterling has entered guilty pleas after a motorway crash involving his Lamborghini Urus in May.

Sterling pleaded guilty on Tuesday to dangerous driving and possessing nitrous oxide. The case followed an incident in which his vehicle was left with four burst tyres and damage along its side.
Footage filmed from another car shows Sterling driving with a white balloon inside the Lamborghini while travelling on a Hampshire motorway, around 90 minutes from the capital. The images appear to show inconsistent changes in speed before the collision.
Police found six nitrous oxide canisters in the vehicle after arriving at the scene. Sterling was arrested following the crash, while separate police body-camera footage later showed officers approaching him after the incident.
Nitrous oxide is commonly referred to as “laughing gas”. Sterling could face a sentence of up to two years in prison following his guilty pleas.
