Matías Soulé’s first appearance for Argentina has added a personal milestone to Roma’s season, with the winger stepping onto the field at the Monumental in Buenos Aires during the 7-0 friendly victory over Burkina Faso on 4 October 2026.
A first Argentina night at the Monumental
Soulé entered at the beginning of the second half, replacing Nico Paz, as Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni used the occasion to hand him his senior international debut. Santiago Castro also made his first appearance for the Albiceleste on the same evening.
