Serie A’s sixth round will begin in Genoa, where a struggling Genoa side host Fiorentina on Saturday 10 October at 15:00. For Daniele De Rossi, the afternoon offers an early chance to change the tone of a season that has brought only one point from five matches.
The round will run through to Monday, when Atalanta face Venezia at 18:30 before Torino meet Udinese at 20:45. Venezia are the only club with a worse opening record than Genoa, still without a point after five games.
At a glance
- Matchday 6 starts with Genoa against Fiorentina on Saturday 10 October, at 15:00.
- Monday’s fixtures are Atalanta-Venezia at 18:30 and Torino-Udinese at 20:45.
- Sassuolo have taken seven points from their first five matches under Aquilani.
- Tijjani Noslin has scored in Lazio’s recent matches against Milan and Venezia.
- Milutin Osmajic has two goals in four appearances since joining Genoa.
Genoa’s need is clearest up front. Summer arrival Milutin Osmajic has supplied two goals in four appearances and carries a fantasy average of 7.63, one of the few encouraging notes in a difficult start for the Rossoblù.
With Lorenzo Colombo injured, Osmajic is expected to partner Vitinha against Fiorentina. At a valuation of 22 credits, the Montenegro forward offers a low-cost option for fantasy managers as Genoa pursue their first league win.
Sassuolo travel to Milan with a more settled mood despite their 2-1 defeat against Monza. Aquilani’s team have made a positive opening in both results and performances, collecting seven points from five games.
Sebastiano Esposito scored on his Sassuolo debut against Juventus but did not find the net at Monza. Having started the last two fixtures, the former Cagliari forward is likely to retain his place against Milan.
The Rossoneri begin as favourites, although Sassuolo showed against Juventus that they can trouble stronger opposition. Esposito is priced at 41 credits, with the prospect of further attacking returns potentially lifting that figure in the coming weeks.
Lazio, meanwhile, have found an important contributor in Tijjani Noslin. The Dutch forward started against both Milan and Venezia, scoring in each match and earning fantasy scores of 9.5 and 10.
Those goals have strengthened his position in Lazio’s attacking pecking order. He is expected to start against Monza, while even a place among the substitutes would likely bring involvement during the game.
At 31 credits, Noslin arrives at the sixth round in strong form and remains one of the more accessible attacking selections. In a weekend shaped by pressure at the bottom and ambition elsewhere, Genoa’s response, Sassuolo’s trip to Milan and Lazio’s momentum will each add another small turn to the early Serie A season.
