Strasbourg Set to Face PSG Without Nanasi and Captain Doukouré

Strasbourg will head into Saturday’s Ligue 1 meeting with Paris Saint-Germain without two key figures, after Sebastian Nanasi and captain Ismaël Doukouré missed Tuesday’s public training session.

The pair were already absent for Strasbourg’s 2-1 defeat at Nice last Sunday after returning from international duty with injuries. Neither player is expected to recover in time for the PSG visit.

Quick facts

  • Strasbourg host Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday at 17:15.
  • Sebastian Nanasi will miss the match after an injury sustained during international duty.
  • Captain Ismaël Doukouré is also unavailable following an international-break injury.
  • Both players were sidelined for last weekend’s 2-1 loss at Nice.
  • No timeframe has been given for Doukouré’s return.

Nanasi, the Swedish attacking midfielder, did not take part in the open session on Tuesday. His continued absence confirms he will not feature against the champions.

Doukouré remains under medical treatment. The Strasbourg skipper was also injured while away with his national team and has not returned to action since.

Strasbourg have not provided further detail on the captain’s condition or an expected date for his comeback, leaving the club to prepare for PSG without him this weekend.
