In Munich, where Bayern opened their Champions League league-phase campaign with a five-goal night against Bodø/Glimt, UEFA has imposed a €45,000 disciplinary fine on the German club over a message displayed at the Allianz Arena.

The sanction relates to Bayern’s match against the Norwegian side on 10 September, a fixture that finished 5-0 for the hosts.
Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies were on the scoresheet, while Michael Olise struck twice as Bayern swept aside Bodø/Glimt in the Bavarian capital.
UEFA’s disciplinary ruling cites the transmission of “a message not fit for a sporting event”, applying Article 16 of its Disciplinary Regulations. The €45,000 penalty was included in the governing body’s latest published list of club-competition sanctions.
The decisions cover incidents from both the latter knockout rounds of UEFA competitions and the opening matchdays of this season’s Champions League and Europa League. For Bayern, the fine is unlikely to carry major financial weight, but it underlines UEFA’s readiness to act over conduct and messaging judged to fall outside the standards required at its matches.
