Wanda Nara Lists Mauro Icardi’s Argentina Shirt for €12

In Argentina, a 2018 national-team shirt has become the latest public marker of the unresolved split between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara. Nearly two years after their relationship ended in October 2024, the former couple remain prone to exchanging barbs, and Nara has now placed one of Icardi’s Argentina shirts on sale at a strikingly low price.

The news from the club

Nara, a model and businesswoman, listed the official Argentina jersey through her online shop. Although the back carries Icardi’s name and the number 9, the advertisement avoids identifying him directly, describing it instead as an “original shirt from a former player, barely used”.

The asking price was 20,000 Argentine pesos, roughly €12. The listing also included interest-free instalment payments and a 15 per cent reduction for debit-card purchases.

The shirt is the Argentina design worn around the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Icardi did not take part in that tournament, despite having featured for the Albiceleste on eight occasions in total.

The sale was interpreted as a pointed reference to the striker’s limited international record. The pair’s difficult separation in October 2024 did not bring an end to their public tensions, with occasional remarks continuing to emerge from both sides.
