White Sox Move Tigers Game to Afternoon Start Due to Weather

The White Sox and Tigers will move up tomorrow’s game at Rate Field, with first pitch now set for 1:10 p.m. CT as Chicago works around an unfavorable weather forecast.

The matchup had been scheduled for a 6:10 p.m. CT start. Parking lots will open at 11:10 a.m., and ballpark gates will follow at 11:40 a.m.

Tickets remain valid for earlier start

Fans holding tickets for the original evening game will be admitted for the rescheduled afternoon contest without needing an exchange. Prepaid parking passes, Stadium Club passes and Patio Passes also will be honored.

Patio Pass holders should plan to enter when gates open at 11:40 a.m.

Those with tickets for tomorrow’s planned Sox Crawl will receive additional details separately from the White Sox.

Broadcast plans unchanged

Chicago Sports Network will carry the game on television, while ESPN Chicago Radio AM-1000 and FM-100.3 HD2 will have the radio broadcast as previously planned.
