France are set to begin their Nations League campaign in Turkey on Friday night, with Kylian Mbappé expected to start from the left in a reshaped attacking line.

Zinedine Zidane appears ready to use a 4-3-3 for his first match as France coach, away to Turkey at 20:45 on Friday.
The intended system was already visible during the squad’s work at Clairefontaine on Tuesday and was again used in Wednesday’s tactical session. Mbappé, the France captain, is expected to occupy the left-sided forward role rather than operate centrally.
Ousmane Dembélé is due to lead the line as the central striker, while Michael Olise should complete the front three from the right.
France’s projected midfield has Manu Koné in the deepest position. Adrien Rabiot and Rayan Cherki are expected to play ahead of him as the two supporting midfielders.
