NBA training camps are about to open with the New York Knicks carrying the target after their first championship since 1973, and Monday’s leaguewide Media Day slate puts 28 clubs in front of microphones to set the tone for 2026-27.
The Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors open the day at 9 a.m. ET, with the Miami Heat following at 9:30 a.m. ET. The remaining sessions roll through the afternoon as teams address offseason roster changes, camp expectations and the work ahead in a season where every other club is trying to unseat New York.
Dallas and Houston are not part of Monday’s run. The Mavericks and Rockets completed their Media Days last week before traveling to Macao for the 2026 NBA China Games.
