Paris FC have tied down one of the most reliable figures in their remarkable Ligue 1 campaign, extending Adama Camara’s contract until June 2028.
The 29-year-old right wing-back has played every minute of the season so far as Paris FC sit third in the Ligue 1 table. His new deal adds a further year to his previous agreement and rewards a player who has become a constant presence on the right side.
From amateur route to Ligue 1 regular
- Camara began playing in Seine-Saint-Denis, starting at SFC Neuilly-sur-Marne before spending time with FC Montfermeil.
- His path then took him to the United States, followed by spells at Noisy-le-Grand and Racing CFF in National 3.
- He reached the professional game later than most, having never come through a traditional academy system.
- Paris FC signed him in the summer of 2023, when the club were still competing in Ligue 2.
- He quickly earned a place in the squad and has now made 109 appearances in a little over three seasons.
A key player on both sides of the pitch
Camara’s ability to operate across the flank, contribute defensively and support attacks has made him an essential part of the Paris FC setup. Since Ligue 1 resumed, he has not missed a single minute.
His consistency at club level also brought international recognition. Following a strong first campaign in the top flight, Camara received his first call-up to the Mali national team.
With the extension confirmed, Paris FC have secured the future of a late-blooming professional whose rise has mirrored the club’s own ascent. Camara is now committed to the Paris side through the end of the 2027-28 season.
