André Onana Released from Hospital After Turkey Road Accident

In Trabzon, on Turkey’s Black Sea coast, André Onana and his family have been released from hospital after a multi-vehicle road accident caused concern around the Cameroon international’s condition.

The goalkeeper, who remains a Manchester United player while on loan at Trabzonspor, was travelling with relatives when their car was struck from behind by another vehicle reportedly moving at high speed. The force of the impact pushed Onana’s vehicle forward into a second car, turning the incident into a collision involving several vehicles.

With Onana accompanied by family members, early fears centred on possible injuries among those in the car. Initial assessments indicated that neither the goalkeeper nor his companions had suffered serious harm, despite the apparent severity of the crash.

As a precaution, Onana and his family were taken to hospital for checks after the collision. Medical staff carried out examinations to rule out injuries or later complications, and they were subsequently allowed to leave the facility without any report of serious physical problems.

The incident comes during Onana’s temporary spell with Trabzonspor, where he is seeking regular football and continuity in goal after leaving Manchester United on loan. For now, the immediate concern in the Turkish city has eased, with the Cameroon World Cup goalkeeper and his relatives reported to be out of danger.
