Gianni Infantino has received fresh backing from the Union of Arab Football Associations, adding another regional endorsement for the president of world football’s governing body.
The Arab football organisation confirmed its support for Infantino, whose presidency has continued to draw backing from associations across different parts of the international game.
The endorsement underlines the Union of Arab Football Associations’ alignment with Infantino as football’s global calendar, major tournaments and governance remain central issues for national federations throughout the region.
