Brazil’s Under-20 side left Spain with a clean sweep and a statement win, beating Mexico 4-0 at the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar. Paulo Victor’s team had to wait until after the interval to turn control into goals, but then pulled clear in little more than half an hour.
The result completed a perfect international window for Brazil, following victories over the United States and Denmark. Attention now turns to January’s South American Under-20 Championship.

Brazil carried more of the play from the opening minutes, keeping Mexico under pressure and finding greater attacking volume, although the first half ended goalless. The breakthrough came quickly after the restart.
Three minutes into the second period, Palmeiras pair Erick Belé and Heittor combined. Belé sent the forward behind the Mexican defence, and Heittor placed his finish into the corner.
Bruninho doubled the lead three minutes later. The Shakhtar Donetsk player struck a free-kick underneath the wall, producing the match’s most eye-catching finish.
Mexico could not stem the flow as Brazil stretched the scoreline. Pedrinho created the third goal in the 71st minute, with Shakhtar forward Luca Meirelles applying the finish.
João Ananias, of Santos, completed the scoring eight minutes later. From the edge of the area, he guided a low shot beyond the Mexico goalkeeper.
Brazil began with Kauan in goal; Igor Felisberto, João Ananias, Bruno André and Kauã Pascini in defence; Lucas Rodrigues, Djhordney and Isaque in midfield; and Erick Belé, Heittor and Yuri Leles in attack.
João Pedro, Ryan, Kauã Prates, Pedro Gabriel, Zé Lucas, Huguinho, Ramon Rique, Tete, Luca Meirelles and Bruninho were all introduced during the match as Brazil closed their Spanish fixtures with three wins from three.
