Brighton turned the fifth round of England’s domestic championship into a bleak afternoon for Arsenal, claiming a commanding 3-0 home victory.
Pascal Grob opened the scoring for the hosts before Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andrés added further goals, completing a result that left Brighton in complete control on their own ground.
Arsenal were unable to find a response as Brighton’s three scorers settled the contest and delivered one of the round’s most emphatic home wins.
