- The removable top includes the North Carolina state flag on its underside, surrounded by the player’s jersey number as a reference to the Hurricanes’ Storm Surge celebration.
- Personal details include each player’s surname, signature and number. The opposite side carries Carolina’s alternate storm-flag logo and the inscription “Stress Game.”
- The bottom of the ring records every playoff opponent and series result from Carolina’s 16-3 march to the Cup.
What it means for the opener
The rings are in hand. The banner-season business now shifts back to hockey Tuesday, when Carolina begins its 2026-27 title defense against the Florida Panthers at Lenovo Center.
Puck drop is scheduled for 5 p.m. The Panthers will be the first opponent standing in front of the defending champions, with Carolina opening a new season carrying the hardware from a dominant 16-3 postseason run.
