Cole Palmer Signs New Chelsea Deal Until 2034

Cole Palmer has committed his long-term future to Chelsea, signing a fresh contract that will keep the England forward at Stamford Bridge until 2034.

The 24-year-old’s new agreement points towards an 11-year stay in west London, having arrived from Manchester City in 2023 after winning the Champions League with his boyhood club.

Palmer has become a central figure at Chelsea at remarkable speed. He has scored 91 times in 138 appearances since the move, while also helping the club win the Club World Cup and the Conference League in 2025.

“Chelsea means a great deal to me,” Palmer said. “I feel the club is moving in the right direction, so I am delighted to extend my contract.

“The owners, sporting directors and the manager all showed real faith in me when we spoke, so signing was the natural decision.”

He said the squad shared the same appetite for success, adding that Chelsea have been collecting major trophies regularly and that he wants to play a leading part in what comes next.

Palmer’s Chelsea record

Category Record
Joined Chelsea 2023
Contract expiry 2034
Appearances 138
Goals 91
Goals this season 4
Assists this season 2
Trophies with Chelsea Club World Cup and Conference League, both 2025

For Chelsea, the deal secures the player who has supplied four goals and two assists in the opening part of the campaign. For Palmer, it is a clear declaration that his work in blue is intended to run well beyond the early promise of his first two seasons.

The weeks ahead will bring the ordinary demands of the league calendar, but Chelsea will do so with their main attacking reference point tied down and looking to add further weight to an already exceptional return in front of goal.
