The footage appeared to show several Commanders walking past Daniels as he was being attended to, leading to online speculation about the team’s response to the situation. Players quickly rejected that interpretation, saying the short clip did not reflect what was happening around their quarterback.
“It’s bulls— what people are saying,” multiple players said in response to the reaction online, defending the locker room’s concern for Daniels and dismissing claims that teammates were indifferent as medical staff assisted him.
