Dortmund Face Nine Matches in 30 Days Before November Break

Borussia Dortmund return from the autumn international break with nine competitive matches in 30 days. Niko Kovac’s side face five Bundesliga fixtures, three Champions League ties and a DFB-Pokal second-round match before the next national-team window begins on 9 November.

  • Dortmund play seven competitive matches in October.
  • The autumn break ran from 21 September to 6 October and included four international matches.
  • The next break is scheduled for 9-17 November and contains two international fixtures.
  • Werder Bremen are Dortmund’s opponents twice: in the Bundesliga on 9 October and in the DFB-Pokal on 27 October.
  • Champions League away trips take Dortmund to FK Bodø/Glimt and Sabah FK, followed by a home match against Real Betis.
  • The Bundesliga run includes an away meeting with Bayern Munich on 31 October.

What it changes in the Bundesliga week

Dortmund begin the sequence at home to Werder Bremen on Bundesliga Matchday 5. They then travel to Union Berlin before hosting Eintracht Frankfurt, visiting Bayern and finishing the league stretch against SV Elversberg.
