The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints have finalized their inactive lists for Sunday’s NFC South matchup, with Atlanta designating Cooper Rush as its emergency third quarterback and New Orleans placing Zach Wilson in the same role.
Rush will be available only under the NFL’s emergency quarterback provisions, while Jack Strand is inactive for Atlanta. The Falcons will also be without defensive backs Malcom Dewalt IV and Roger Longerbeam, defensive end Jared Ivey and offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa.
New Orleans will not have linebacker Kaden Elliss, defensive ends Carl Granderson and Anfernee Jennings, cornerback Decamerion Richardson, defensive lineman Christen Miller or tight end Noah Fant. Wilson is listed as the Saints’ emergency third quarterback.
The Saints’ front-seven absences are particularly notable, with Granderson, Jennings, Elliss and Miller all unavailable as New Orleans prepares to handle Atlanta’s offense. The Falcons, meanwhile, will enter the game with reduced depth in the secondary and along the offensive line.
