Frosinone and Sassuolo meet at the Stadio Stirpe at 20:45, with both sides carrying the weight of recent results into an evening that can shape the mood around their respective seasons.
Massimiliano Alvini’s Frosinone return to home duty after their defeat against Napoli. The coach has selected Palmisani in goal, protected by Oyono, Cittadini, Monterisi and Bracaglia. Schmid, Calò and Masini form the midfield line, while Ghedjemis, Raimondo and Kvernadze lead the attack.
Sassuolo arrive under Alberto Aquilani having held Milan in their most recent away fixture. Muric starts between the posts, with Van der Brempt, Caleta-Car, Odenthal and Doig named across the back four. Bakola, Matic and Thorstvedt make up the midfield, behind an attacking trio of Berardi, Esposito and Laurienté.
For Frosinone, the Stirpe offers the chance to respond immediately after Naples; for Sassuolo, it is an opportunity to give further substance to the resilience shown against Milan. The line-ups place familiar responsibility on the forward lines, with Berardi and Laurienté providing Sassuolo’s experience while Raimondo, Ghedjemis and Kvernadze are asked to give Alvini’s side energy and purpose.
