Genoa and Fiorentina meet at the Luigi Ferraris on Saturday afternoon in a sixth-round Serie A fixture that brings two historic clubs together early in the 2026-27 championship.
The coach and the club
The match is scheduled for Saturday 10 October 2026, with kick-off set for 15:00 at Genoa’s Luigi Ferraris stadium.
Both teams have confirmed their starting line-ups and taken to the pitch for the pre-match warm-up. The contest marks Genoa’s home appointment against Fiorentina in Matchday 6 of the Serie A season.
For Genoa, the afternoon offers the familiar responsibility of carrying the championship in front of their own public in Marassi. Fiorentina arrive for a league test in a venue where the rhythm of the match is often shaped as much by the occasion as by the standings.
