The dispute surrounding Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has taken another turn, this time through a social-media post from Georgina Rodríguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, which was later removed.

Rodríguez shared a message on Instagram aimed at Jorge Jesus, writing: “I do not know how this man can carry the name of Christ.”
Her post also repeated a supposed remark attributed to Sir Alex Ferguson. The quotation was not genuine, however, and the post was subsequently deleted.
The false Ferguson comment questioned why Jorge Jesus had called up a player if he did not intend to use him, suggesting that such a decision would reflect insecurity rather than authority.
The episode adds another public strand to the continuing tension between Jorge Jesus and the Portugal national-team environment.
