Davide Frattesi’s move from Inter to Lazio was driven by a need for a more central role after limited playing time in Milan, his agent Giuseppe Riso has explained.
The decision
Speaking on the “Colpi da Maestro” podcast with Marco Nosotti, Riso discussed the background to several recent deals involving his clients, with Frattesi’s switch to Lazio among the cases addressed.
The midfielder had found it increasingly difficult to remain at Inter while receiving too few opportunities on the pitch. Riso said the Lazio move developed from that situation, arguing that Frattesi could no longer continue at the Nerazzurri without regular involvement.
For Lazio, the arrival adds a player whose decision was shaped less by a break with his former club than by the practical demand for minutes. For Inter, it closes a chapter involving a midfielder who had reached the point where his place in the squad no longer matched his ambitions.
Riso, who also represents Carlos Augusto, used the interview to outline the circumstances behind recent moves for his players.
